Door, Wall and Screen

Wandesford Quay, Cork

These details were drawn as a part of my final year project, repurposing Wandesford Quay into an Intergenerational Community Hub. The design must be fit for purpose - a safe, accessible space for both young and old to interact, complying with all building regulations. I chose to use a grooved acoustic panels to control noise levels in the corridors and open spaces. Signage was also important for the users and incorporated into the design by using vinyl glass manifestations.

The Maldron Hotel,

South Mall, Cork.

As part of my summer internship in Reddy Architecture and Urbanism, Cork, I worked alongside a talented interiors team who helped me to detail various fittings for The Maldron Hotel, Cork. At this late stage of the project, my main focus was the staff canteen, detailing the kitchen and bench seating alongside other back of house fittings.
